Birmingham Real Estate Market update for May 2012

The report on Birmingham area real estate has been released by Market Trends for May 2012.

Overall real estate sales increased 13% versus May of 2011. Inventory, or the houses available for sale, is down by about 3,000 houses versus last year. This is a positive move for sellers.

The days on market (time it takes to sell on average) is still about 5 months for used homes.
